Our aim at Waitpoint I.T. Consulting is to deliver the most appropriate solution that meets your requirements. We will work closely with you, bringing our wide market experience to ensure successful project delivery.

Waitpoint I.T. Consulting's Project Definition approach has been created to deliver a consistent approach to all projects that we are requested to respond to. The process has been designed to offer a series of steps that mean that all stages are documented and all requirements and areas of concern are addressed. Following are the key stages.

Project Requirements
The most important part of any project is to listen to our client and document the requirements and goals. To this end, we

  • Define boundaries and scope, explore future potential and define timescales and milestones
  • Explore tolerance for any potential business disruption and down-time during working hours
  • Develop an understanding of existing architecture and assess existing in-house skills at both technical and user level
  • Identify training requirements

Project Team
Each project is headed by an account manager. This person will call on Waitpoint I.T. Consulting staff with expertise relevant to the project. A typical project team consists of sales, technical, installation and finance personnel.

Architecture Definition
Working with our client, an architecture will be developed, taking into account business preferences, delivery timescales, costs and flexibility to support future needs.

Proposal
Once the solution is signed off internally, a detailed proposal will be presented to the client.

Project Initiation
Upon client acceptance of the proposal, a detailed schedule will be presented and the Waitpoint I.T. Consulting team will be assigned tasks to ensure successful project delivery. On-going meetings will review progress to ensure delivery remains on time.

Hand-Over
